Accountability, to me, is a lot like parenting or driving in that it is easy to feel WE are good at it, while OTHERS are horrible. ?But look within! ?Are you a Supervisor, Manager, Director or “Boss” of others in any form? ?Would you call yourself a “boss” or would you prefer to be called a Leader!? ?What’s the difference? ?One place to look is Accountability!

For one, a boss is TOTALLY willing to hold other people accountable whereas a leader, in addition to offering accountability is also willing to hold themselves accountable (or allow themselves to be held accountable). ?Moreover, someone embracing the identity of “Boss” is likely to rely on their authority and power to “fire” someone as their main tool of Accountability. ?Leaders, on the other hand, get permission?they collaborate with their direct reports on what is possible both in their potential and actual results. ?Leaders?inspire, empower and support their direct reports creating in them a DESIRE TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE!

Get a Klu- AccountabilityWhen this happened for ME (a desire within to be held accountable), my life and career changed forever?and, for the better by several fold, I might ad. ?This is why I?ve created a couple of free resource guides (audios with worksheets) to help YOU?better understand accountability.

Let me just ask: ?Have you ever studied accountability or challenged yourself in any way to get better at holding yourself and others accountable? ?What would happen to your coaching practice or career as a leader of others if you made a 10-20% improvement in your Accountability Effectiveness? ?The free resources I am giving you “stand alone” as complete in their value, but also make up 33% of a complete Accountability Training that I offer privately or in e-course format. ?If you like the free content, maybe you’ll LOVE the rest!?accountability training ecourse

Meanwhile, WHY is LEARNING accountability so important??Because, accountability is about measurement and reporting. ?Without it, no “success” can ever be declared! ?We ALL DESERVE SUCCESS?but how could we ever SAY we are successful without an “accounting” of the results we produce as compared to what we set out to produce? ?Each person’s “measure of success” may differ but NOBODY can claim success without measures!

If you are a Coach or at a level of Supervisor and above in your organization, my?free audios with printable fill-in-the-blank worksheets will teach you a PROVEN FORMAT?for an effective coaching/leadership session or one-on-one meeting with your direct reports. ?About 90 minutes of content will help/improve your ability to?provide powerful but permission-based accountability. ?You will also find the audios?loaded with tips on Task-Management, Motivation, and Integrity!
