This post is a little more personal in nature as I’d like to wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving! ?I truly believe I’m a lucky guy with?so much to be grateful for all year long…of course, Thanksgiving?provokes our public expressions of Gratitude so here are just a few of mine…

1. My Family– I would not be where I am today without my wife and 3 kids. They are my strength and motivation. Running Get A Klu, Inc., Coaching Little League and Teaching 2 or more classes each semester can be challenging, so?I’m beyond grateful for my family’s full support for everything that I do. ?And, I am constantly amazed by their accomplishments and development-Abby in theatre, girl scouts and soccer…AJ in Baseball, Baseball and Baseball…Brody is so smart and expressive for a 3 year old…and Mary Ann is a Corporate Superstar who still makes time for PTA, Girl Scouts, Youth Sports and ME! ?:-) ?I could stop there, but here’s 4 more at the top of my gratitude list this Thanksgiving…
2. My Clients– I treat my clients more like business partners. They trust me to help reach?their business and personal goals…at the same time, I learn so much from and with my clients that I can?share with others. If you follow my Drive-By Coaching videos, you can understand how they are?inspired by the fresh client experiences that I am heading from or towards!
3. My Students– I’ve mentioned that one of the many hats I wear is also Professor. I teach Speech Communication classes at San Diego City College and Miramar. My students keep me on my toes with their curiosity about the world beyond the classroom. I have to be at the top of my game with them, especially because most of them are smarter than me!? The opportunity to help these young, ambitious minds is truly an honor…especially the active-duty and veteran service men and women who’s lives I get to positively contribute!
4. My Alma Mater, SDSU– Going?back to speak at SDSU a few weeks ago, made me realized just how grateful I am to have survived SDSU for both my under grad and master’s degree. Not only was I lucky to go to school in America’s Finest City, but I also get to pass Aztec Love and Fanaticism to my kids…AJ, especially, has been going to Aztec Games with me all his life!!!
5. Incredible Friends– Some friendships in life “come and go” and others last forever! ?I equally grateful for the truest friendships that have lasted decades as I am for those?that are on their way…playing Poker with Little League Dads (two of whom, by the way, believe they are #1) is always a special treat!
6. OK, One More Thing…?-9 years ago I chose not to renew my Padres Season Tickets…Petco Park was brand new and the Padres were actually a playoff-contending team in those days. ?But I was building a family (AJ was 1 year old) and a Business (Get A Klu was about to launch) and somethings had to give. ?This year, I am THRILLED and GRATEFUL to be back on board as a Padres Season Ticket Holder…Get A Klu got a half-season package of 4 Seats in Toyota Terrace and I am?guaranteed to be able to take three VIP’s to The All-Star Game in July 2016. ?If you are interested in enjoying a baseball game with me next season, drop me a line (Padres Game with Klubeck) and be sure to write “Padres Game” in the Message box and we’ll make it happen!
